She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Sergent and Mattie Sergent (Harris); her husband Hugh L.; her son Darwin Hicks; and her siblings, Montford Sergent, Harold Sergent, Ernest Sergent, Clara Harris and Gladys Albee.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda M. Dunn of Oneida and Kerry L. Hicks of Oneida; her grandchild Cristen Gallup (Gerald) of New Hartford; her great grandchildren, Emma and Elliot; her granddaughter Katy Dunn of Oneida; her great grandchildren, Brayden Jeck, Emitt Jeck and Aubree Houck; and also Carolyn Diamond of Sherburne.
