He was predeceased by: his father Paul E. Savage; his daughter Olivia Barbara Savage; and his sister Christine Lesher. He is survived by: his mother Judith C. Savage (Sturgen); his sister Melody; his brother-in-law Trevor Morris; his brother Paul, Jr. of Canastota; and his sister-in-law Joyce Savage of Canastota. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
