We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Shirley J. Van Dusen (Canastota, New York). She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Le Roy and Clarice Breed Jones; her husband Richard Van Dusen; her children, Barbara Jenkins (Glenn Kahler), Catherine (Robert Lichorat), Ann (Dennis Lasher) and Hind Van Dusen of Lafayette; her sister Audrey Skeldon of Florida; and her friend Sam Tomarchio. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Beverly Jones, in infancy and brother, Le Roy Jones, Jr. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the family will have a public graveside service in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, at 11 AM, Saturday, April 24, 2021, with the Reverend William Wilcox officiating.
