With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard L. Carrier Sr. of Canastota, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Carrier and Alice Carrier (Sacher); his mother-in-law Dorthy Murphy; his sister Beverly James; his siblings-in-law, Jean Egan and Jack Egan; and his grandson Joshua Carrier.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Egan Carrier; his children, Richard Jr. (Sandra), Christopher (Barbara), Lori (Bernard Nadeau), John and Jesse (Mara Miller); and his grandchildren, Rich, Carrie (Valesquez), Brad, Brian Nadeau, Josiah, Jack and Natalie. He is also survived by sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Wanderers' Rest Humane Association of Canastota in memory of Dick, honoring his love for animals.
