With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Neil W. Poppleton of Canastota, New York, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on August 17, 2020 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Neil W. Poppleton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Poppleton and Gertrude Poppleton (Combs); his son Roy A. Poppleton; and his siblings, James Poppleton and Naomi Runge.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie; his children, Linda (Donald Morris), Sally (William Zielasko) and Neil W. Poppleton II; his grandchildren, Spike (Debbie Klahs), Kevin (Kirsten Morris), Joshua Bortle, Paris Poppleton, Roy Poppleton, Bradley Poppleton, Jessica (Paul Pylman) and Jacob Zielasko; and his siblings, Joyce Fort of Munnsville, Phyllis Andrews of Canastota, Corrine Fanelli of Fl and Cole Poppleton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, there will be no public visitation.
