Marah B. Vanderwerken Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2025, at the age of 13, Marah B. Vanderwerken (Canastota, New York), born in Syracuse, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Marah is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Marah's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David M. Vanderwerken and Ashley Shaughnessy Vanderwerken; her siblings, Molly and Mason; and her grandparents, Barbara, Jim Shaughnessy, Renee and Robert Lohr. She was also cherished by her loving parents, brother and twin sister.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home (300 S Peterboro St, Canastota, NY 13032). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
