She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell DeKing and Jennie DeKing (Snyder); her son Daren Phillips; her granddaughter Mellissa Phillips; and her siblings, Terry DeKing and Joanne Dailey.
She is survived by: her children, Charles W. Phillips, Jr. of Kirkville, David Phillips of Cazenovia, John (Ginger Phillips) of Cazenovia, Robert (Becky Phillips) of Cazenovia, William Phillips of Cazenovia, Tammie Phillips of Canastota, Carrie (Douglass Cordell) and Jennifer (Jason Dyer); and her siblings, Marvin "Sonny" DeKing, Richard (Sandy DeKing), Gilbert (Jill DeKing), Frank (Joanne DeKing), Russell "Rusty" DeKing of Peterboro, Diane (Harold Baker), Nancy (Paul Tanner) and Marion (Walter Stokes). She is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; one great great grandson; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
