He was predeceased by: his parents, Anson Mason and Laura Mason (Allen); his close friend Barbara J. Moore; and his siblings, Gene "Jake" Mason, Eugene Mason, John Mason, David Allen, Sr., Peggy Skellum, Janet Mason and Polly Mason.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret "Megan" Mason of Oneida; and his cousin George Howe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
