Joan D. Hood Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan D. Hood of Canastota, New York, born in Oneida, New York, who passed away on February 10, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy "Pete" Dixon and Arlene "Toni" Dixon (Philo); and her brother Herbert Dixon. She is survived by: her husband Charles H. Hood; her children, Charles "Charlie" Hood of Canastota, Pete Hood (Rick Reigel) of Watsontown, PA, Sue Hood LaBarre of Canastota and Jill (Richard Kilts); her brothers, Leon (Vicky Dixon), Gary "Rick" Dixon of Oswego and Marion "Sue" Dixon of Canastota; and her parents-in-law, Wesley, Linda Hood, Lois Hood, Harry Hood and Gail Hood. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
