He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Betsinger and Elizabeth Betsinger; his wife Mary Johnson; his children, Heather Simmons (Doug) of Canastota and Robert Betsinger (Casandra) of Canastota; his grandchildren, Emily, Douglas, Brody and Makayla; his sister Roberta Dinwiddie (Jim) of Lake George; his brother-in-law Freddie Joe Johnson (Debbie) of Sherrill; his pets, Rosebud and Sissy; and his sister Nancy Tyler. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
