With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Mae Poppleton of Canastota, New York, born in Canajoharie, New York, who passed away on November 12, 2024 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elsie Mae Poppleton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Button and Florence Button (Spraker); her husband Neil W. Poppleton; her son Roy A. Poppleton; and her sisters, Mary Lou Dygert and Eileen Kowal.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Morris of Canastota, Sally (William Zielasko), Neil W. Poppleton, II (Teresa Rao) of Canastota and Richard (Diane Poppleton); and her grandchildren, Jessica (Paul Pylman), Bradley Poppleton, Roy Poppleton, Paris Poppleton, Joshua Bortle, Spike (Debbie Klahs), Kevin (Kirsten Morris) and Jacob Zielasko. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
