He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Dye and Rosanna Dye (Peck); and his siblings, Bundy Dye, Pete Dye and Betty Summner.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Dye of Virginia and Thomas Dye of Virginia; and his stepchildren, Jon (Rita Nodine), Joel (Kimberly Nodine), Alicia Lenhart of Verona, Candy (David McCormick) and Lois Hoyt Nodine of Tully. He is also survived by many grandchildren; great grandchildren; one great grandson; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
