He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Amandus Diehl and Phyllis Moyer Diehl; his wife Jane Shetler; his children, Jessica Lighthall (Jason) of New Haven and Adam Diehl (Dedria Metott) of Verona Beach; his grandchildren, Joshua Lighthall, Lucas Lighthall and Ryver Knapp; his siblings, Pamela Vedder (Nicholas) of Verona, John Diehl (Sonja) of Rome and David Diehl of Verona Beach; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Paccia (James) of Marietta, Paul Shetler of Tully and Douglas Shetler (Amy) of Tully.
