Belva L. Wakefield Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Belva L. Wakefield of Canastota, New York, born in Oneida, New York, who passed away on July 12, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Simmons and Jennie Simmons (Suits); her husband Gerald R. Wakefield; her daughter Shirley J. Wakefield; and her siblings, Donald Simmons, John Simmons, Jr., Ruth Knight and Marion Montross.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Vanderhoff of Canastota; and her granddaughter Lisa Vanderhoff (Guy Hoffman). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
