He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Swain and Mary Swain (Ream); his brothers, Everett and Dale Swain; his granddaughter Hannah Swain; and his son Leslie Swain.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Swain (Abbey); his children, Bret Swain of Florida, Aaron Swain (Stacy) of Cohocton, Brian Swain of Canaseraga and Danielle Love (Alan) of Canaseraga; his grandchildren, Cayson Love of Canaseraga and Lillian Swain of Cohocton; and his siblings-in-law, Jon Abbey of Wayland, Janelle Schmidt (Carl) of Trinity and Hope Abbey of Dansville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
