Courtney Jr. of Canandaigua, New York, born in Perry, New York, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia; his parents, William Courtney, Sr. and Catherine Courtney; his sister Jean Benham; and his great grandchild Oliver Courtney.

He is survived by: his sons, William Courtney III (Kathy) of Palmyra, Daniel Courtney (Marcelina) of Hilton and Mark Courtney (Stacey) of Middletown, DE; his sister Patricia Chapin of Honeoye Falls; and his grandchildren, Daniel Courtney, Alexa Courtney (Alex Goettel), Theodore Courtney, Andrew Courtney, Emma Courtney and Michael Courtney.
