He is survived by: his wife Margaret J. Rhodes Axtell (Cuddeback); his children, Adrian Axtell (Allison), Ian Axtell (Jenni) and Gillian Axtell; his stepdaughter Ann Hoenig (Arlie); his son Richard Cuddeback (Sherry); and his son-in-law Gordon Estey. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
