William B. O'Connell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William B. O'Connell of Canandaigua, New York, who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Edith O'Connell; and his parents, William, Sr. O'Connell and Lucy O'Connell (Caldwell). He is survived by: his wife Elinor O'Connell (Butler); his children, Michael O'Connell, Lee F. Kaminski (Tammie), Kathleen Retzner (William) and Mary Pat Smilikis (James); his grandchildren, Daniel (Ann), Kerry (Brian), Megan, John, Evan, Benjamin and Katherine; and his great grandchildren, Mae, Hannah, Lucas and Benjamin.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Church (95 N Main St, Canandaigua, NY 14424).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Benedict Parish for St. Mary's Church, 95 N. Main St., Canandaigua, NY 14424 or Notre Dame University, Holy Cross Dr., Notre Dame, IN 46556.
