Wayne Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Smith (Canandaigua, New York), who passed away on February 16, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wayne Smith to pay them a last tribute.
Though Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wayne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Leslie Mae Smith; his children, Dale (Annie) and Dawn (Chris) of Canandaigua; his granddaughters, Amanda (John), Emilee DeRoo (Hunter) and Carolina; his brothers, Bruce (Marylou) and Allen (Beth); and his great grandchild Ryleigh.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (320 S Pearl St, Canandaigua, NY 14424). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Assoc., The American Diabetes Assoc., or the Nettle Valley Cemetery.
