He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sister Jean Smyth (Stan Martin) of Pinehurst, NC; his daughters, Katie Niles (Tom) and Elizabeth Walsh (Johnny); and his grandchildren, James Thomas Niles, Mary Elise Niles, John Thomas Walsh III and Christian Brace Walsh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
