With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia A. Courtney of Canandaigua, New York, born in Warsaw, New York, who passed away on December 4, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Bagg and Aleata Bagg; her brother Gordon Bagg; and her great grandchild Oliver Courtney. She is survived by: her husband William Courtney; her sons, William Courtney III (Kathy) of Palmyra, Daniel Courtney (Marcelina) of Hilton and Mark Courtney (Stacey) of Middletown, DE; her sister Robin Vetter of Batavia; and her grandchildren, Daniel Courtney (Margaret), Alexa Courtney, Theodore Courtney, Andrew Courtney, Emma Courtney and Michael Courtney.
