He was predeceased by: his parents, Hulda Sperber and Adolf Sperber; his brothers, Bruno, Alfred and Dieter; and his cousin Edith Pollak (Joe Pollak).
He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth; his sons, Karl (Karis) and Roland (Tracy); his grandchildren, Marybeth, Matthew, Joshua, Adam, Eric and Karin; his great grandchildren, Peneolope, Freya, Conor, Benjamin and Oliver; his sister Hilda; and his cousin Sigrid.
