She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jay Showalter; her children, Scott Showalter (Melissa) and Tammy Carter (Mark Dygert); her granddaughters, Gabrielle, Miranda, Amelia and Mariah; her brother Allen Hackford (Kathy); her sister-in-law Betty Hackford; her siblings, Richard Hackford and Florence Nola; and her parents, Leon Hackford and Margaret Hackford (Lauber). She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
