With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert W. Broomfield Sr. (Canandaigua, New York), who passed away on December 27, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Marie Leary of Victor, NY.; his parents, Roy Broomfield and Marian Broomfield; his brothers, Gordon and Fred Broomfield; and his siblings-in-law, James, Agnes Nolan and Barbara Broomfield.
He is survived by: his children, Robert (Kathy Lloyd), Kelly Baker (Joseph), Roy (Karen), Daniel, Kevin, Kay Marie Phipps (William) and Kristin (Sarah Mason); his grandchildren, Shana Kenealy (John), Chelsea Akin (Joshua), Tasha Broomfield (Jason Wells), Emerson Broomfield and Liam Phipps; and his great grandchildren, Chase Verdi, Phineas, Piper, Coraline Akin, Joseph and Roselynn Jackson. He is also survived by his bride, extended family, and newfound friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Robert's memory to the Skilled Transitional Unit at the Ewing Continuing Care Center, 350 Parrish Street Canandaigua, NY 14424.
