He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Beverly Johnson (Lloyd); his sons, Richard E. Johnson, Jr., Duran M. Johnson and Daniel Johnson (Connie Morton); his grandchildren, Logan and Ayedin; his brothers, William Johnson (Karen), Franklin C. Johnson and Charles Johnson; and his parents, Franklin Johnson and Marian Johnson (Lowe). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
