He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Green and Dorothy Green; his wife Joan (Williams); and his mother-in-law Martha Williams. He is survived by: his sons, Timothy (Rebecca) of Bristol, Joseph (Janet) of Bristol, Christopher of Bristol, Matthew (Nicole) of Naples and Adam (Christine) of Bristol. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
