He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jones and Helen Jones; and his sister Judy Adams. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jones (Helfert); his children, Jason Jones and Jennifer Covey (Jones); his siblings, Thomas Jones and Mary Kay Lupton; his brothers-in-law, William Lupton and Jim Adams; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Jessica Jones, William (Billy) and Brooke Covey.
