He was also cherished by three nieces and four nephews.

“Paul was a big personality. Paul and I lived near each year all four years at Wittenberg. (across the hall, the fraternity house, and senior year apartment). Paul was a serious student who like to have fun. He could be intense and fun loving in the same hour. I cherish my memories of Paul. He would have fought hard until the very end.
