She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Kevin McCarthy (Andrea), William McCarthy (Susan), Laura Jean Mallon (Mark), Brian McCarthy (Nancy) and Patricia McAuley (Thomas); her grandchildren, Jessica, Samantha, Michael, Erin, William, Patrick, Matthew, Meaghan, Chloe, Robert, Brendan and Kevin; her great grandchildren, Emily, Lily, Lewis, Everett, Teagan, McKayla, Colin, Bennett, William, Michael and Theodore; her brother George Aylward (Elizabeth); her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Aylward and Eileen McCarthy; her husband Patrick W. "Pat" McCarthy; her siblings, Maureen Aylward and Michael "Skip" Aylward; and her parents, R. Michael Aylward and Mary Ellen Aylward (Yard). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
