She was predeceased by: her son Matthew Zanghi; and her parents, Dave Carson and Dolores Carson. She is survived by: her children, Rachele LaMar and Ryan Zanghi (Kate); her grandchildren, Christian, Tyson LaMar, Avary Zanghi-Martin and Silas Zanghi; and her brother Mark Carson (Maureen).
