He was predeceased by: his father Raymond (Jeanette); his wife Barbara Wylie; his siblings, Raymond Chappelle, Janice Carney, Bessie Mitchell, Beverly Potter and Nancy Scott; his daughter Denise; his sons-in-law, Edward Scammell and Bruce Edwards; and his great grandchild Madeline Bartz.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Judy Boutwell; and his daughters, Debbie Chappelle of Canandaigua, Dianne Scammell of Farmington and Donna Chappelle (Mark Conley) of Maine. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
