Jonathan J. Murphy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jonathan J. Murphy (Canandaigua, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Sean Murphy (Lauren) and Collin Murphy; his close friend Mary Volansky; his grandsons, Aiden and Wyatt; his stepsons, Andrew and Jacob Bugbee; his siblings, James Murphy, Joseph Murphy, Nicholas Murphy (Kellie), Margie Watkins (Paul "Woody" Woodworth), Darlene Fox (Tom) and Timothy Lou Murphy; his nephew Joey Murphy, Jr.; his great-niece Sasha Murphy; and his parents, Nicholas Jr. Murphy and Margery Murphy (Jordan). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
The military honors was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Overackers Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Crystal Beach Fire Department (4468 NY-364, Canandaigua, NY 14424).
