As we bid Joan farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joan is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond "Buzz" Dumas; her daughter Tami Dumas; her brother Neal Dorothy; her brother-in-law Robert "Boyd" Brackett; and her parents, Ansel Dorothy and Beulah Dorothy (Bancroft).
She is survived by: her son Kris Dumas (Cindy); her grandson Adam Dumas (Elise); and her sister Faye Brackett.
