She was predeceased by: her father John Szulgit; and her brother Paul Szulgit. She is survived by: her husband David C. Melroy, Jr.; her sons, David C. Melroy III and Alec P. Melroy (Lisa); her mother Barbara Szulgit; her siblings, Anne Medill (George), Mary Tebbutt (John), Barbara Abrams (David), Martha Rutherford (Tony), John Szulgit (Lori) and David Szulgit (Deb); and her pet Cayenne. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
