He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Hurlbutt Gillmor; his parents, Calvin Gillmor and Marie Gillmor (Titus); and his siblings, Marjorie Knesel and Marion.

He is survived by: his children, Deborah Mroz (Ted), Vicki Gillmor (Terry McLaughlin) and Scott Gillmor (Lynn); his grandchildren, Kyle (Marlee), Justin (Rachael) and Kaitlyn Gillmor; and his great grandchildren, Gabriella and Cohen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations in Jim's memory can be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Happy Tails Animal Shelter.
