He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Winter and Evelyn Winter (DeGroot) of Webster; his wife Lucia Winter (Junco); his children, John Winter (Shara) and Toni Battaglia (Stephen); his grandson Anthony; his sister Kathie Hurn (Linsday) of Ontario; his siblings-in-law, David Junco (Terry), Trish Dunshie (Mark) and Jude Junco; his parents-in-law, David and Angela Junco; and his daughter-in-law Jill Heidel Winter.

In lieu of gifts, donations can be made in Fred's honor to the Chili Fire Department, 3231 Chili Ave, Rochester, NY 14624.
