He was predeceased by: his son Brian E. Brown; his siblings, Thelma Smith, Charles Brown, Irene Mason, George Brown, Elizabeth Steinmetz and Elmer Brown; and his parents, Ralph Brown and Mabel Brown (Trenchard).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Cookie" Brown; his daughter Heidi King; his grandchildren, Hailee, Taylor and Abbey; his siblings, Harold Brown (Amy) and Anna Belle Skinner; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Brown, Jackie Brown, Charles Zimmerman and Michael Zimmerman (Phyllis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
