It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dovie (McDonough) Gavette (Canandaigua, New York), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was also cherished by 23 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
