She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Richard Gavette; her children, Beth McAvinney (Dave), Richard "Rick" Gavette, Jr. (Dorarene), Pat Page (Steve), Christina Gavette (Vince), Christopher Gavette, Timothy Gavette (Dawn) and Joshua Gavette (Katie Scott); her sister Cathy Guckert (Ron); her nieces and nephews, Scott and Dougie Gavette; her daughter Shelly Schaefer; her brothers, Terry and John McDonough; and her parents, Edwin McDonough and Ethel McDonough (Gossett). She was also cherished by 23 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
