He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Alan of Watkins Glen; his parents, Harold Dwight Barton and Esther McBride Barton; his wife Virginia Winston; his sister Geraldine; his children, Paul (Amy Hagberg) of Limerick, Maine, Ken (Michelle) of Wildwood, Missouri and Donna (Denis O'Leary) of South Bend, Indiana; and his close friend Adrienne O'Brien of Canandaigua. He was also cherished by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren, along with two nieces, a nephew, cousins, second cousins, and many more distant relatives.
