She is survived by: her parents, Joseph Evangelista and Philomena Evangelista; her husband Vincent Valvano; her children, Vincent (Karin), Thomas, Andrew and Joy (Wayne); her grandchildren, Dani, Isabel and Morgan; her siblings, Frank Evangelista and Mary Pastore; her sister-in-law Mary Clement; and her brother Donald Evangelista (Elaine). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Mary's School in Canandaigua, the American Lung Association or a charity of one's choice.
