She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Patricia Kierst, Suzanne Bruen (Dennis), Connie Ealey, James Barnett (Robyn Spedick), Thomas Barnett (Lori) and Martin Barnett (Kim); her son-in-law Michael Tighe; her grandchildren, Jeremy Kierst (Suzanne), Bryan Kierst (Wendy), Amy Sleeman (Ethan), Joshua Bruen (Maureen Rush), Justin Bruen, Benjamin Ealey (Hope), Harrison, Carolyn Tighe, Vanessa Bogart (Corey), David Goben (Alexandria), Kalie Ayers (Wade), Hannah Dineen (Matthew), Daniel and Jenna Barnett; her brother Joseph Merkel (Bonnie); her husband James E. Barnett; her children, Daniel J. Barnett and Nancy Tighe; and her parents, William Merkel and Cora Merkel (Dietz). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
