He was predeceased by: his parents, Marian Peirce (Nevius) and Charles Clifford Peirce; and his wife Betsy Mae (Lord). He is survived by: his sister Hilda Nevius Peirce of Hingham, MA; his cousin John Nevius of Onancock, VA; his nephew Steven Gourley (Janet) of Brownfield, ME; his children, Carrie Peirce (Steve Bieghler) of Pomona, CA, Sharon (Patrick Cullinane) of Farmington, NY, Charles Kevin (Diana Peirce) of Bryan, TX and Kate (Randall Ott) of Shortsville, NY.; his grandchildren, Adrienne Heckman (Nevius), John Benjamin Nevius, Kate Russell (Nevius), Nathan Ott, Charles Andrew Peirce, Emily Moore (Peirce) and Rebecca Elkins (Peirce); his friend Martha Ashley; and also, Charlie, Jean, Gary, Esther, Larry, Susie, Barbara and Dick. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
