She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Mike Hayes (Polly), Susan Andrews and Scott Hayes (Vicky); her daughter-in-law Sharon Hayes; her husband Manley "Pete" Hayes; her son Terry Hayes; her sister Sandra Sinton; and her parents, Canandaigua Police Chief and Dorothy Pierce (Lynch). She was also cherished by nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
