She is survived by: her siblings, Jay Hoover and Judy Barnes; her children, Sheri Housel, Daniel (Lori Maynard), Carol (Ryan Mulderig), Polly Higley and Patricia (Kevin Munt); her friend Todd Higley; and her grandchildren, Ryan Powers, Cody Wells, Kyle, Sean Higley, Delaney, Regan Mulderig, Lauren, Daniel Maynard, Tami, Karl, Brandi Housel, Heather Terrore and Tiffani Engleman. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

“Dear Sheri, Danny, Carol, Polly & Patty, Was very sad to learn of Aunt Bertie's passing... I hold dear the memories of weeks during summers that the Maynard and Pappas kids spent visiting each other and the terrific times our families had in Geneva over the years. Aunt Bertie was such a lovely and sweet person. I will think of her smile and bubbly nature always. What a wonderful legacy she leaves behind with so many grand and great grandchildren.
