He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sheridan Bryan and Ruth Spadeholtz Bryan; his wife Joanne M. LaFever; his daughters, Carol Madden and Caren Petten; and his siblings, Irving, Miriam, Gracie, Ruthie, Sandra, John, Patsy, Irene, Alice, Harry and Margie. He was also cherished by 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
