It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Mitchell (Canajoharie, New York), born in Little Falls, New York, who passed away on May 12, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Mitchell; his former wife Bonnie Dibble; and his brothers-in-law, Timothy Schaffer and Kevin Hall. He is survived by: his father Theodore Mitchell; his wife Autumn Mitchell; his children, Brad Mitchell, Chelsey Rosenbarker and Ashley Mitchell; his children-in-law, Jana Mitchell and Adam Rosenbarker; his grandsons, Wyatt Mitchell and Everett Rosenbarker; his siblings, James (Lisa Mitchell), Elizabeth (Joseph Burns), Donna Hall and Mary Smith; and his mother-in-law Carol Schaffer. He is also survived by aunt, several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution is encouraged to donate to The Ayres Animal Shelter, 133 Hilltop Rd, Sprakers, NY 12166, as Rick was a lover of dogs - especially his grand pups Sissy, Carhartt, and London.
