It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michelle D. Montanye (Canajoharie, New York), born in Wilmington, North Carolina, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michelle D. Montanye to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Charles and Monica Loyche. She is survived by: her parents, Peter Higgins and Sandra Loyche Johnson; her husband Michael Montanye; her children, Nicole, John Maher, Kellen Higgins (Rebecca Mutchock), Alex Montanye and Carlene Montanye; her siblings, Christine Higgins and Roy "Wayne" Myers; and her grandchildren, Connor and Abigail. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Houghtaling & Hanley Funeral Home, Inc. (20 Otsego St, Canajoharie, NY 13317). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
