She was predeceased by: her parents, Mortimer P. Weaver and Albertena Mae Blakeslee; her husband Arthur "Roy" Simpson; her son David Arthur Simpson (Sharon); and her siblings, Charlotte, Florence, Stanton, Charles (Bob), Melvin and Douglas.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanette McKinney John L. (Charles), Esther T. Simpson and Robert E. Simpson (Amy Jo); her sister Lynn Ashley; and her stepsiblings, Wayne Winsman and Roseanne Matthews. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
