He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold I. Hennessy and Alice Prescott Hennessy; his wife Marie Sullivan; and his sister Doris Flynn. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Windover (Mark) of Williamstown, MA, Paul Hennessy (Junko) of Orlando, FL, Brian Hennessy (Sally) of Leland, NC, Kevin Hennessy (Nancy) of Oriskany, NY and Joanne Hennessy (Michelle) of Cohoes, NY; his grandchildren, Eric Windover (Jodi), Molly Windover (Colin Stewart), Emily Windover (Chris Kauffman), Eli Windover (Cathie Pelchat), Kenneth Hennessy (Stephanie), Michael Hennessy (Laurie) and David Hennessy (Andrea); his great grandchildren, Ruby, Phoebe, Mia Kauffman, Liam, Nora Stewart, Evan, Nolan Windover, Leeah Hennessy, Carter, Chloe Hennessy, Paisley and Logan Hennessy; and his nieces, Patti Fertal and Carol Flynn.
A reception was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home (20 Otsego St, Canajoharie, NY 13317).
