She was predeceased by: her parents, Giocondo Salmaggi and Filomena Ginangeli Salmaggi; and her siblings, Alba, Ellie, Aurora and Ferris.
She is survived by: her husband Salvatore A. Covais; her daughter Janet Covais Clemons; and her sister Edith Carmine. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
